The seventh and final work in a seven-part cycle drawn from the chakra system, the Sanskrit चक्र (cakra) "wheel" denoting the body's revolving centers of subtle energy. This is सहस्रार (sahasrāra), the thousand-petaled lotus "crown", and it does not sit in the body at all: it hovers just above the skull, the only wheel with no element, no organ, and no self to speak of. Its petals carry all fifty letters of the Sanskrit alphabet, repeated twenty times over, every sound a language can make, said at once. Not personal achievement. Perspective, meaning, and the dissolution of the line between one life and all of it.
The work carries: Consciousness · Inner Peace · Spiritual Understanding · Gratitude · Transcendence.
