Collection: Designer Pets

In the year ~ 2036, laws allowing animal GMO for entertainment purposes began passing around the world.  This new wave of creation would be known as Aesthetic Genomics and initially it was limited to non-humans.  A more powerful version of the CRISPR technology ushered in the first of these creations, designer pet creation, which skyrocketed following a ground breaking fashion show that shocked the world with these one of a kind new form of pets.  World famous fashion designer Gioele Santoro was the first to dare creating a fashion show with pets that matched the outfits.  The development process took over 4 years, requiring the fashion models to raise their pets leading up to the show.  Gioele would go on to make a fortune selling these uniquely designed combinations but this mainstreaming of designer pets opened the door to a wide range of strange "pets" all around the globe, including overseas knockoffs of the pets from the famous show.   The hit song CRI$PR BABY produced by DJ microplastic featuring singing by Vonn Cipher and Serenity Webb, became the anthem of this new movement, both catchy and commenting on the coming wave.
